Exploring the Old Testament

‘Exploring the Old Testament’
A series of discussion evenings

As we struggle with the complexities and challenges of 21st century life, does our faith suggest how we should live? Is the Bible, and particularly the Old Testament, still a source of inspiration, raising new questions as well as providing ancient wisdom?

Would it help deepen our understanding to meet with others to explore the concerns of our day in a relaxed, friendly environment, where no-one will claim to have all the answers, but where we might learn from one another? If this sounds intriguing, come along to our series of discussion evenings. We’ll meet in Christ Church on five Tuesday evenings at 8pm. One of our Ministry Team will give a short and provocative introduction to get us thinking, and then over light refreshments we’ll explore some topical issues. We’ll suggest some questions for starters, but you may well have other things you want to talk about.

All evenings will start at 8pm and, however much you want to talk, we’ll aim to finish around 9.30pm!  For details of the planned sessions please see flyer here.
