Music on the Green

Music on the Green (MOTG) is a ministry, based at Christ Church, of high quality lunchtime concerts on the third Wednesday of the month.

Entry is free with a light lunch provided from 12:30pm. Donations are welcome. The concert runs from between 1.15pm to 2pm. The programmes are designed to enable visitors to arrive and leave as they are able. 

MOTG is about making music which is accessible to, and enjoyable by, as many people as possible without it being stuffy or cheapened.  Music is about people, emotions, history…  We blend all these ingredients and seek to present our music in interesting and rewarding ways, within its own context so that it can be widely appreciated and enjoyed.
