Paul Evernden, clarinet, Angela Najaryan, violin and Jelena Makarova, piano
Eos Trio was formed last summer by three alumni of the Royal Academy of Music who have a passion for both new and older repertoire, and their credits already include the opening session of the St John’s Smith Square Music Marathon in September 2017. Eos programmes iconic mid-20th century works with transcriptions of early music, exploring the rarely heard literature for violin, clarinet and piano whilst at the same time adding to this oeuvre. Their Esher concert will include works by Milhaud, Khachaturian and C P E Bach, and should provide a most stimulating start to the New Year.
