Lucas Dick, clarinet & Amanda Hurton, piano
Still only 12 years of age, Lucas Dick performs a wide-ranging repertoire on the clarinet and has played at many venues including with the BBC Family Orchestra at the Proms and at the South Bank Centre.
Amanda Hurton lives in Esher and studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Royal College of Music, where she graduated with a First Class Honours in Performance. She has a busy career as a teacher, coach, adjudicator and examiner.
Lucas's programme will include Saint-Saëns, Stanford, Martinu and Horowitz, as well as a piece specially written for him by the renowned British composer Roxanna Panufnik and the premiere of an enigmatic new work by leading educationalist and composer Paul Harris.
