Thibault Blanchard, cello & Kyle Nash-Baker, piano

For our March concert, we welcome the young cellist Thibault Blanchard, accompanied on piano by Kyle Nash-Baker. Thibault took up cello at Besançon Conservatoire at the age of six, has worked with leading string virtuosi including Natalie Clein, and has won many competitive awards including first prize at the Epinal Music Competition and at the Concours des Clés d’Or in Paris. His programme will include Bartok’s Romanian Folk Dances and sonatas by Debussy and Brahms.
