We are holding a short service to celebrate and give thanks for our pets. An opportunity for us to share together all that we enjoy from having a pet.
Bring your pet, safely tethered or in a portable carrier to join us at the village church, St George’s, at West End. We look forward to seeing you all - adults, parents, children and, of course, your pets! Dog, Cat, Rabbit, Goldfish, Tortoise, Budgerigar, Pony … whatever your pet, make sure it is safe and in your control. If you need to check anything before coming please call the Parish Office.
This year we will be welcoming Gemma Nelson from the Swan Sanctuary based in Walton-on-Thames to tell us more about what they do. Their experience and advice about swans, their nesting (often at West End Pond) and hazards they encounter will be of great interest to us all.
Do come and join us, with or without a pet – it really is a special occasion.
