Come & Sing Carols
Christ Church, Esher

Enter into the spirit of Christmas and join us in singing your favourite carols to our musical accompaniment. The carols will be interspersed with humorous and reflective readings to enhance this popular seasonal community event.

Doors open 12.30pm. Free entry!
Mince pies and mulled wine will be served.

This Advent we offer a series of three half-hour organ recitals marking the 200th anniversary of César Franck (born 10 December 1822), featuring his three celebrated Organ Chorales and other works by this major nineteenth-century composer. Each recital will be followed by a short service of Compline - a beautiful act of worship representing the final prayer service of the day in the Christian monastic tradition, with an emphasis on spiritual peace and quiet contemplation.
