Where is God in our ordinary, everyday life?

Where is God in our ordinary, everyday life?

Find out by joining the Church of England on a journey to discover God in your #EverydayFaith.

Our daily lives are often very full. Full of things to do. Full of meetings and deadlines. Full of places to be. Full of people to meet. For some they may be full of time on our hands. Full of hopes we would like to fulfil. Full of things we don’t want to face. Where is God during the daily life we are dealt? How do we find God in the fullness of life?

Saying Goodbye - The Journey So Far

Jul
16

I announced recently that I am moving on to become the next Rector of Christleton in the Diocese of Chester. In part, honouring a calling to care for ageing parents in the years ahead. I was taken aback by how much it hurt to share the news, and I am aware that, for some, it also hurt to hear it. I am sure this is a good thing – at least when the dust settles. A reflection of the deep bonds of love and friendship that have been formed, and for which we may be grateful. How could it be any different? It can’t or it shouldn’t.

Children's Cooking Group

Jun
22

A message from Joanna Sansom, Lower green Development Worker.

Lower Green is in need of 3-4 volunteers to support us with a children’s cookery group, which we are piloting in August. We hope that this group will take off with local families, and that we will be able to continue to run one night a week from September.

This is a brilliant project, where young people will learn to cook healthy meals on a  budget, and then enjoy them with their families at the end of each session. Unfortunately we will not be able to run this group without the help of volunteers.
