Music on the Green concert: Simon Desorgher & Sally Mays

We are pleased to welcome back Simon Desorgher, who has become well known as an innovative flautist experimenting with a large range of tone colours.  He performs at major venues throughout Europe and on BBC Radio 3.

Sally Mays is an Australian-born pianist of international repute, who was a multiple prizewinner at the Royal College of Music.  She has had many works written especially for her and is best known for her love of contemporary music.   Sally is a natural musical partner for Simon, and they make a compelling duo.

Their Esher programme will include two French favourites:  Debussy’s Sonata for Flute & Piano and Poulenc’s Cello Sonata, ingeniously arranged for bass flute.

This should prove a lunchtime concert to broaden your musical experience!

Light lunch from 12.30pm, concert from 1.10pm. Free entry, retiring collection
