We are delighted to announce the first (ever) Parish e-newsletter was published this week. If you are on the Electoral Roll and we have your email address you should have received a copy. Morris's book is different: short but not superficial, strong in its science and philosophy, and realistic - as a carer of his handicapped grandson. Like Stephen Hawking and Einstein, Morris tries to explore the mind of God. Violence began with the Big Bang, long before legendary Adam's sin.

Christingle Service

Our Parish Christingle Service in partnership with Esher Church School will take place at Christ Church on Sunday 6 December at 4.00pm. Please do join us as we worship and strengthen our relationship with the school.

At St George's in West End the 9am service on Sunday 6 December will incorporate elements of a Christingle service. On Saturday 5 December at 9.30am children are invited to come along to St George's where they will be taught the meaning of Christingle and be able to make Christingles.

Lord's Prayer Teaching

We will be undertaking a six consecutive week course on the Lord's Prayer.  The course will run on Tuesdays, 8 to 9.30pm, starting on 3 November and on Wednesdays, 10.30am to 12 noon, starting on 4 November. Feel free to just turn up to any session, but clearly it would be beneficial to commit to the six weeks. If you are interested, sign up at the back of the church or contact the office by 18 October. The course material, if affordable, is £6.  Nate and I look forward to welcoming and journeying with you.

Healing Eucharist's

On the 18 October at our 9am and 10.30am services there will be the option for all to receive prayer and anointing for healing for themselves or someone they would like to pray for.  It will be a wonderful time for us. Please do come if you are able.

All Age Harvest Celebration

We will be holding our All Age Harvest Celebration on Sunday 4 October at 10.30am at Esher Church School, Milbourne Lane, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9DU

After the service, there will be an impromptu bring your own lunch/BBQ. If warm enough, the swimming pool will be available also.

Pet Service

We are holding a short service to celebrate and give thanks for our pets – an opportunity for us all to share together all that we enjoy from having a pet.  Bring your pet, safely tethered or in a portable carrier to join us at the village church at West End. We look forward to seeing you all – adults, parents, children and of course your pet!

Church Hall

We have often said the lack of a church hall inhibits our community and its mission. This property, directly opposite Christ Church, has recently come onto the market, c. £750k, and we ‘own’ the building next door.  Is this part of God's plan for us ……?

United All Age Worship on Esher Green
