Advent is a chaotic time of the year and it is so easy to forget what Christmas is really all about, or rather, who it is about.

We invite you to take part in our Advent Prayer Group, designed to help us all make space to stop and think about and be with God. You will receive an email with a prayer idea and a prayer starter each day, from 1 to 24 December

To take part sign-up in church or email If you don’t have email let the Parish Office know and we’ll ensure you take part via other means.

St George's Church at the West End Village Show

This year St George’s, Christ Church and the Parish as a whole will again be a part of the West End Village Show on Saturday 26 August.  We will be offering teas in the Village Hall and the legendary cake and bread stalls in St George’s.

Last year we raised just over £2,000. We would like to do even better and welcome help from anybody with anything and for any amount of time.

Of course if you’re not sure if you can help just make it a date in your diary and come along for some simple Summer fun. And like us cross everything that the sun keeps on shining for us!
