Music and Prayer for Advent

This Advent we offer a series of three half-hour organ recitals marking the 200th anniversary of César Franck (born 10 December 1822), featuring his three celebrated Organ Chorales and other works by this major nineteenth-century composer. Each recital will be followed by a short service of Compline - a beautiful act of worship representing the final prayer service of the day in the Christian monastic tradition, with an emphasis on spiritual peace and quiet contemplation.

All recitals start at 6pm. Compline will follow circa 6.35pm, finishing around 7pm.
Free admission, with retiring collection for Parish funds.
