St George's is closed
From Sunday 20 September
St George's will re-open for December services
It's now being refurbished with a brand new floor.
To ensure the future of this vibrant and historic building ongoing refurbishment and renovation, both internal and external, continues to be required. The roof has recently been repaired and the outside has been stripped back and repainted. The electrics have been updated, reliable lighting has been installed, complete internal repainting and multiple repairs to woodwork have been completed.
We are now undertaking necessary remediation work to replace the foundations and flooring. Donations towards this very important St George's project - on what many regard as the focal point of the village - would be very welcome. Sunday services continue at Christ Church. Everyone is welcome to the 10.30am morning service.
