Why am I here?
A question we explored at our Eucharist on Sunday 18 February 2018.
Viewing this question through Jesus' baptism and drawing on Rowan Williams book Being Christian, we wondered whether part of the answer lies in, as Rowan said, "how we freely engage in shaping our lives and human environment in the direction of God's justice". This called to mind the Church of England's recent call to give up single use plastics during Lent. A call which we are encouraged to respond to as part of the answer as to why we are here.
