Lent Appeal in 2021 - Laptops for children
Children are doing their school work at home, many with limited or no access to technology - eg. siblings and parents are sharing just one laptop between them. Our Lent Appeal this year will aim to provide computer aid for local families in need. We hope to raise as much money as we can to provide technology for familes with children at both Esher Church School and Esher High School. The funds will be divided equally between the two schools.
Donations can be made by cheque, made payable to ‘Esher PCC’. Alternatively, donations can be made via the Parish JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/esherparish. Please use the reference 'Lent Laptops Appeal'. For more information please see attached document.
We would like to not only raise money to buy laptops but also ask if you have any unwanted Macs or PCs under 10 years old (Windows 7+) please get in touch with the Parish Office. We can give them to a local charity with the expertise to wipe data and reset to factory settings before giving them to local schools.
