Parsons Cup awarded to the Bellringing team at Christ Church, Esher

We are pleased to announce the Bellringing team at Christ Church have just been awarded the Parsons Cup. It is awarded every year to one of the fifteen towers in the Chertsey District for making the most improvements.  It was originally donated by David & Joyce Parsons (Egham) and first awarded in 1973. It used to be won by the top tower in the Striking Competition but it is now awarded for overall improvement in recruiting, training, striking and above all ringing for Sunday services.
